What is the biggest challenge you鈥檝e faced in earning your degree? Being a minority on campus can be difficult. Sometimes you feel that you can鈥檛 do it because you don鈥檛 see familiar faces around you. Also, being a first-generation college student can be over overwhelming when I can鈥檛 just ask my parents what they did when they were in college because they don鈥檛 have that knowledge. I had to look for answers by myself and figure out how to overcome being homesick.
What will you appreciate most about your 91制片 experience? Just being able to go to the Multicultural Student Services office and talk to them and have such a big support. Also, having such amazing staff who are willing to help you succeed.
What鈥檚 next in your life? I will be attending Graduate School at 91制片 for the school counseling master鈥檚 program.
