Welcome to Curran Kranzusch Tustison Oetting (CKTO) Hall! As a vibrant first-year community, CKTO offers a welcoming environment where residents can build connections within their smaller cube communities while becoming part of a larger hall community. Located in the heart of South Campus, CKTO puts you close to dining, classes, and campus activities while providing a supportive place to call home. Our staff make an intentional effort to get to know residents and create opportunities to build friendships, get involved, and make the most of your first year at 91ÖÆÆ¬ Polytechnic.

Room Size & Layout

The plans below show the general layout and dimensions. Individual halls vary slightly from this standard. We are unable to accommodate requests for specific room measurements.  A futon needs to be 79 inches or less to fit within the loft frame.

CKTO Double Room

The room is approximately 11' x 15' with a ceiling height of 7'8". Each room includes two adjustable bed lofts, two dressers, two closets, two moveable bookcases, two desks, two wall-mounted bookcases, and two desk chairs. A microwave and refrigerator are also provided in each room.

CKTO Triple Room

The room is approximately 19'10" x 10'10" with a ceiling height of 7'8". Each room includes one adjustable loft bunk, one adjustable bed loft, three dressers, three closets, three movable bookcases, three desks, and three desk chairs. A microwave and refrigerator are also provided in each room.

*Extended double rooms are the size of a triple room, they house two people with two sets of furniture.

  • Frederick L. Curran graduated from Stout in 1921 and served 32 years as a faculty member.
  • Ray F. Kranzusch worked as a professor of radio, electrical work and auto-mechanics at Stout.
  • Francis F. "Tusty" Tustison developed the four-year programs in Physics and Mathematics.
  • Erich Oetting worked as the first Dean in the School of Education.
