Welcome to Fleming-Hovlid (FH) Hall! As a community primarily home to returning and transfer students, FH offers a welcoming environment where residents can build connections while enjoying the independence of upperclassman living. FH is a co-ed community with lounges and kitchens on each floor, as well as laundry facilities and an art room for residents to enjoy. With elevators in both Fleming and Hovlid, the hall also provides convenient access throughout the building. Located directly next to North Point Dining and the Fitness Center, FH makes it easy to access dining, recreation, and campus activities. Throughout the year, our staff create opportunities for residents to connect and take part in North Campus traditions, including the annual Spring Casino Night hosted in Hovlid. Whether you're getting involved on campus, spending time with friends, or enjoying the FH community. We hope to see you be part of the FH family!
Room Size & Layout
The plans below show the general layout and dimensions. Individual halls vary slightly from this standard. We are unable to accommodate requests for specific room measurements. A futon needs to be 79 inches or less to fit within the loft frame.
Fleming Double Room
The room is approximately 11' x 15' with a ceiling height of 7'8". Each room includes two adjustable bed lofts, two dressers, two closets, two movable bookcases, two desks, and two desk chairs. A microwave and refrigerator are also provided in each room.
Hovlid Double Room

Fleming Triple Room
The room is approximately 25'6" x 11' with a ceiling height of 7'8". Each room includes one adjustable loft bunk, one adjustable bed loft, three dressers, three closets, three movable bookcases, three desks, and three desk chairs. A microwave and refrigerator are also provided in each room.
