Welcome to the AFM community! There are many benefits to living on campus and we do it all in AFM! This residence hall serve sophomore (and higher) Honors students and split First-Year Experience (FYE)/Returning & Transfer students. We strive to create an academically focused, social and inclusive environment where our residents feel at home. We spend time getting to know the members of our community and provide social opportunities for residents to get to know each other as well. Our in-hall leadership team hosts floor and building-wide programs allowing for connection, education and fun! We are here to make AFM home for you!
Room Size & Layout
The plans below show the general layout and dimensions. Individual halls vary slightly from this standard. We are unable to accommodate requests for specific room measurements. A futon needs to be 79" or less to fit within the loft frame.
AFM Double Room
The room is approximately 11' x 15' with a ceiling height of 7'8". Each room includes two adjustable bed lofts, two dressers, two closets, two moveable bookcases, two desks, and two desk chairs. A microwave and refrigerator are also provided in each room.
Antrim and Froggatt Triple Room
The room is approximately 19'10" x 10'10" with a ceiling height of 7'8". Each room includes one adjustable loft bunk, one adjustable bed loft, three dressers, three closets, three movable bookcases, three desks, and three desk chairs. A microwave and refrigerator are also provided in each room.
McCalmont Triple Room
The room is approximately 25'6" x 11' with a ceiling height of 7'8". Each room includes one adjustable lofted bunk, one adjustable bed loft, three dressers, three closets, two non-movable towel bars, three pedstals, three movable bookcases, three desks, and three desk chairs. A microwave and refrigerator are also provided in each room.
*Extended double rooms are the size of a triple room, they house two people with two sets of furniture.
